Sajal made her debut on screen in 2009 with a small role in a drama serial ‘Naadaniyan’ opposite Nida Yasir, Danish Nawaz and Mohib Mirza. After her debut she took a break of 2 years and in 2011 she was again seen in a serial ‘Mehmoodabad Ki Malkain’ opposite her sister Saboor Ali. She got an appreciation for her acting which made her recognizable among directors and viewers.
She had always been amazing throughout her acting career. However, with time she transformed herself which is why she is highly praised across the globe. Sajal has been a part of many highly watched serials including ‘Aasmano Pai Likha’ opposite Shehryar Munawar, ‘Nanhi’ opposite Javed Sheikh.
Furthermore, ‘Meri Ladli’ opposite Urwa Hocane and Sami Khan, ‘Saanata’ opposite Danish Taimoor and Saba Qamar, ‘Chup Raho’ opposite Feroze Khan and Syed Jibran and many more. However, the serial which gave her the best actress award is ‘Gul e Rana’ in 2017.

She gave her Lollywood debut in 2016 by working in the film ‘Zindagi Kitni Haseen Hai’ opposite Feroze Khan and other stars. The film earned a collection of 10 crores at the box office with a budget of 4 crores.

In 2017 she gave her Bollywood debut by working in the film ‘Mom’ opposite Indian actress Sri Devi and Adnan Siddiqui. The film went successful at the box office with earnings of more than 100 crores which also developed a great relation of Sajal with late Sri Devi.
As a Singer
Other than acting skills she is also blessed with a great voice. In 2017 she sang an ost of her drama serial ‘O Rangreza’ with Sahir Ali Bagga which turned out an exceptional and amazed everyone with her beautiful voice.
