Nayab Ali Biography

Nayab is one of the inspiring and fierce Pakistani transgender women who in spite of all the obstacles didn’t lose hope and kept on inspiring everyone with her courage and bravery. She let the transgender community to enter in the politics and made them contest the elections for the first time. Moreover, Nayab is the first transgender women who registered the company ‘Transgender rights consultant’ for all her fellow transgender people to provide them with their rights for the first time.

Education of Nayab

Nayab is one of the educated Transgender people that holds the degree of Masters in International relation from the Preston University of Islamabad. Before her master, she obtained the degree of Bachelor’s in Botany from the Punjab University. She remained bullied and harassed throughout her educational period, yet she kept ongoing. According to her, education has made her strong and confident.

Family of Nayab

Like every other transgender person, her family didn’t accept her; however, she lived with her grandmother throughout her life. Currently, one of her sisters Ayesha lived with her who likewise works in the Human Rights Ministry like her sister.


  • Nayab started working for the rights of Transgenders from the age of 17. She encouraged every transgender person to stand up and complete their education. In 2018 she along with her fellow member contested the Pakistan General Elections for the first time. She contested the elections from NA-42 while being attached to Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf. However, she couldn’t win the elections yet won the hearts of many people.
  • In 2020 she again came in the limelight for registering a company with the name ‘Transgender Rights Company’ in SECP. It is for the first time when a company for transgender people have been registered. On 9th Feb 2020, she again made all the transgender people proud by winning ‘The GALAS’ Award. She bagged this award for all her services and contribution to the Transgender community.
