Imamuddin Shouqeen Biography
Imamuddin is a Pakistani politician and recently elected Senator after winning 2018 Senate Elections. Apart from a politician, he is also an advocate and a Chairman of Popular Group Industries. He has looked after other Sales and financial matters and day-to-day operations of his group.
He has previously worked as a member of the Provincial Assembly and appointed on various important Ministers. Imamuddin hails from a healthy family who has maximum years of experience. Moreover, he is an active social worker.

He has a degree of bachelors of Arts and Law.
Imamuddin stepped into a political career in 1988 when he became a part of Pakistan Muslim League-Functional. He became a Councilor of Municipal Committee. Later the Prime Minister of that time appointed him Chairman of District Khidmat Committee of District Sanghar.
He ran for the Provincial Assembly seat in 2008 General Elections from PS-82 Sanghar Constituency while being attached to PML-F and grabbed the highest votes. He served the tenure till 2007.
In 2008 Imamuddin was given the status of Provincial Minister. He was appointed the special advisor to Sindh Chief Minister for Inquiries and Anti-Corruption. Later, in 2009 his status was enhanced to an adviser to Mineral Development and Mines.
In 2013 Elections, he ran for the National Assembly seat from NA-236 Constituency but unfortunately couldn’t win.
2018 Senate Elections
On 3rd Feb 2018, he announced his decision to join PPP. He ran for the Senate Assembly seat in 2018 Senate Elections on PPP’s Party ticket and fortunately secured the highest votes. He took oath on 12th March 2018.
