Heer Soho Biography
Heer is a seasoned and determined politician who was part of MQM, on MQM’s ticket she ran for Sindh Provincial Assembly seat in general elections 2002, 2008, and 2013. She is also serving as a member of the standing committee on special education, energy, and women development.
In 2008 she parted her ways from MQM by getting hurt from their misbehaviour with female workers and later joined PPP.

Political Career
General Election 2002
In 2002 general election she got elected to Sindh Provincial Assembly as MQM (Muttahida Qaumi Movement) on a seat reserved for women.
General Election 2008
She stood for Pakistan National Assembly seat as MQM candidate from NA-238 Constituency in 2008 general election but got defeat by Syed Ayaaz Ali. In that same election, Soho contested as an independent contestant for Sindh’s Provincial Assembly from PS-85 Constituency and PS-86 Constituency on the ticket of MQM.
Unfortunately, she lost both these seats to Sassui Pallijo & Shah Hussain respectively. On MQM’s ticket, she got re-elected to Sindh Provincial Assembly on women reserved seat.
General Election 2013
In 2013 general election she lost the Provincial Assembly seat to Amir Haider from PS-85 Constituency. But she re-elected to Provincial Assembly in the same election on a seat reserved for women.
Parted Ways From MQM
In 2018 she left MQM and then joined PPP and told the reason that MQM doesn’t respect women. She announced to reveal the party’s behaviour with female members soon.
