Khalid Mehmood hails from Sheikhupura is a Pakistani Politician who is currently working as a member of the Provincial Assembly after winning the Pakistan General Elections while being attached to Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf. He is serving as a Provincial Minister of Punjab for Disaster Management and is working really hard to achieve the vision of Naya Pakistan which was glimpsed by the PTI Government.

Political Career
- He ran for the seat of the Provincial Assembly for the first time soon after completing his education from the Constituency PP-167 (Sheikhupura-VI) as a member of Pakistan Muslim League Q in 2002 Pakistan General Elections and gave defeat to the candidate of PMLN Chaudhry Ghulam Nabi.
- After completing his tenure he once again ran for the seat from the Constituency PP-167 (Sheikhupura-VI) but unfortunately faced defeat from his opponent.
- He left the party and ran for the set of the Provincial Assembly as an independent candidate in the 2013 Pakistan General Elections from the Constituency PP-167 (Sheikhupura) and once again faced defeat.
- In the 2018 Pakistan General Elections he contested as a member of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf for the seat of the Provincial Assembly from the Constituency PP-140 (Sheikhupura) and gave defeat to his opponent. On 12th September 2018 he was appointed as Provincial Minister of Punjab for Disaster Management.
