Sohail Khan is a Pakistani businessman and a politician who joined politics in 2000 on demand of his father Malik Laal Khan who is likewise a member of the Pakistan Muslim League since 1993. Sohail Khan is currently serving as a member of the National Assembly from Attock elected from the By-Elections in 2018. His formula of life is “It is far better to live like a tiger for a day than to live like a jackal for a hundred years.”

Malik Lal Khan, the father of Malik Sohail who joined politics in Hyderabad where he was living to take care of his business, was chosen an individual from the National Assembly from Attock on the ticket of the PML-N in 1993 and 1997. He was named a parliamentary secretary after the 1997 elections and held the workplace until the administration of Nawaz Sharif was toppled by General Pervez Musharraf on October 12, 1999. He (Sohail) is married and blessed with 3 children.
Political Career
- As per his father’s command, he became a part of politics in 2000 when he participated in a local government election and chosen as a Naib Nazim of Attock district. He resigned from his post after 4 months because of the system of the local government which he couldn’t adapt. However in 2002 General Elections he was given the party ticket as a member of the Pakistan Muslim League but unfortunately, he lost the seat.
- In the 2008 General Election he again fought from the constituency NA-58 Attock from the same party. He had a firm belief that Pakistan will definitely progress after 20 years if Miltary won’t interfere and stay away from politics. In 2018 By-elections, he was elected to the National Assembly from the Constituency NA-56 (Attock-II) as a member of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf. He took an oath as an MNA on 29 October 2018 and is performing his duties with full diligence and nobility.
