Ashifa Riaz is an educated Pakistani politician who is associated with Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf since 2018 as a member of the Provincial Assembly. She is currently working as the Provincial Minister of Punjab for Women Development appointed by Chief Minister Usman Buzdar. She is doing her best to achieve the vision of Naya Pakistan which was glimpsed by the PTI government.

Political Career
- Her political career started when she was appointed as a member of the Provincial Assembly as an independent candidate from Constituency PP-88 (Toba Tek Singh-V) in Pakistan General Elections 2002 by giving defeat to her opponent Nazia Raheel (a candidate of Pakistan Muslim League N). She was accepted into the common Punjab bureau of Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and was named as Provincial Minister of Punjab for Women Development, with the extra clerical arrangement of Human Rights on 24th November 2003.
- In June 2004, she was given the extra ecclesiastical arrangement of social welfare. She filled in as Minister for Women Development, Human Rights, and Social Welfare till 30 November 2006. On 1 December 2006, she was selected as the Provincial Minister of Punjab for women improvement.
- In 2018 after joining Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf she again ran for the seat of the Provincial Assembly from Constituency PP-122 (Toba Tek Singh-V) and faced victory. On 12th September 2018, she was enlisted into the ‘provincial Punjab Bureau of Sardar Usman Buzdar. On 13th September 2018, she was designated as Provincial Minister of Punjab for Women Development.
