Gholam Mujtaba Biography
Dr. Mujtaba stands for national security, unity, equal opportunities, and rehabilitation of Pakistan to dreams of Quaid-e-Azam, Pakistan’s founding father. He belongs to a strong educational background and is an asset of Pakistan, who had made and is making his country proud by his political and literary services.
After completing his education from prestigious institutes, he started making his mark in Pakistani history by serving at several worthy posts in Pakistan and abroad. He has authored many articles and publications. He has the honor of having dual Ph.D. degrees that is a proud excellent for himself and his country.
During his political career, he remained a close aide of former Pakistani President Parvez Musharraf. He is the recipient of ‘US Congressional Recognition Award on 25th Jan 2015 in Texas and ‘Pakistan Peace-Award’ in Sep 2011 at NYC (National Youth Conference).

Education of Mujtaba
He attended Karachi’s Airport Model School, Rajdhani Cadet College, Jamia Millia College in Karachi, and Modern High Standard School in Lahore for his early education. He did a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Karachi University in 1978.
In 1987 he secured his M.Sc. degree in Pharmacology from King’s College London, and in 2004, he received a Doctorate in Medicine from the American Intl School of Medicine. He received a Doctorate in education in 2016 from Argosy University.
Gholam Mujtaba Family
His father, Gholam Mustafa (Late), belonged to Patna Bihar. He was 1st Muslim Gold-Medalist from the University of Calcutta and General-secretary of Association of Muslim Students in Independence Movement of Pakistan. Mujtaba’s wife, Misses Kalsoom Mujtaba was the niece of the founding PM of Pakistan Liaqat Ali (Late).
Kalsoom’s father, Dr. Abdul Majeed (Late), did medical practice in Sindh. Her maternal grandfather was Ghulam Farid (Late) was Karnal’s Nawab and her maternal uncle Dr. Ghulam was 1st Secretary Health, Govt of West-Pakistan.
Another uncle Ghulam Rasheed (Late), was 1st Commissioner of Karachi after the independence of Pakistan. Kalsoom fought a long battle with cancer and died on 10th Sep 2016. The Mujtaba family has the honor to have the 2nd highest No. of Ph.D. degrees worldwide.

He authored a Doctoral-Dissertation on ‘The Perception of Pro United States Pakistanis on Military & Civilian Leadership styles.’ In Nov 2016, Argosy University’s Graduate Facility. In the political history of Pakistan, Mujtaba is the only person having dual doctorate degrees.

He has authored several publications on the ‘Cardiovascular-Pharmacology.’ He has authored several Intl articles on the ‘Current Affairs.’
Author of Waaqiya-e-Meeraj
He wrote his 1st book ‘Waaqiya-e-Meeraj’ relating to contemporary-science. In this book, he discussed Islamic History 1400 years ago. He has presented evidence in parallelism to contemporary science to reflect the journey of ‘Al Isra Wal Meeraj,’ the physical truth.

Political Career
He worked as the alliance party leader to the Government of Sindh, having the majority and complete support of Provincial Assembly Members. In 1993 he lost elections to Pakistan National Assembly’s largest constituency yet remained a key-cabinet advisor to CM Sindh. He became successful in preventing ethnic and sectarian violence and crimes in the province.
Mujtaba was a close aide of ex-President Parvez Musharraf. He became successful in making a deal with the opposition. Later due to opinion differences with Musharraf regarding Karachi’s ethnic party, he resigned from the All Pakistan Muslim League.
