However, she was elected as a member of the Provincial Assembly in May 2015 on a reserved seat for women due to resignation tendered by Mrs Kiran Kamran. After completing her tenure she is re-elected as a member of the provincial Assembly in 2018 Pakistan General Elections on a reserved seat for women.
