Abdul Qadir Khanzada Biography
Abdul Qadir is a Pakistani politician who was elected as a member of the National Assembly in the past while being attached to the Muttahida Qaumi Movement. In 2014, the Punjab police raided his house and took him to another location for further interrogation. However, after the investigation, silence remained from both parties.
Political Career
2003 By-elections
He ran for the seat of the National Assembly in 2003 by-elections from NA-242 Constituency while being associated with MQM and have defeat to his opponent. After his tenure, he was made the Parliamentary Secretary Communication till the end of his tenure.
2008 General Elections
After the completion of tenure, he again ran for the National Assembly seat in the 2008 Pakistan General Elections from the same Constituency and once again faced victory. He gave defeat to his opponent of PPP’s Candidate.
Police Raid
In 2016, a police raid occurred in Khanzada’s house due to unknown reasons. As per a few eye-witnesses, almost 25 police members entered his house through his neighbor’s house and took him and his son to another place for further interrogation. After a few times, he released by the police, and later no investigations were made.
