During his tenure, he functioned\u00a0as Member of Public Accounts Committee. In 2008 Pakistan General Elections he was again chosen as a candidate of the Provincial Assembly from the\u00a0Constituency PP-231 (Pakpattan-V) by giving defeat to his opponent\u00a0Khan Amir Hamza Rath (an independent candidate). During his tenure he served as\u00a0Chairman, Standing Committee on Literacy &#038; Non-Formal Basic Education.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>He left PMLQ and joined PMLN and ran for the seat of the Provincial Assembly in 2013 Pakistan General Elections from the\u00a0Constituency PP-231 (Pakpattan-V) and once again got succeded to grab the seat.
