Firdous Aashiq is a senior and acknowledged Pakistani Politician who recently served as Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan. In 2012 she assigned as Ministry of National Regulations and Services while her previous post was given to Qamar Zaman Kaira.

• In 2013 Firdous Aashiq again contested for the General Elections while being attached to the same party, but she faced defeat from PMLN member Chaudry Armaghan Subhan. However, she appointed as PPP’s Vice President. In 2017 she made her mind leave PPP and joined hands with Imran Khan.

• 2018 Elections again proved to be unlucky for her as she couldn’t be elected as a member of the National Assembly from  NA-72 Constituency (Sialkot I). However, on 18th April 2019, she assigned as Special Assistant of PM Imran Khan for the Information and Broadcasting. On 27th April 2020, she was replaced by Asim Bajwa on the order of Imran Khan.
