The Ministry of Agriculture (Ministry of National Food Security & Research), abbreviated as MoA, is a Cabinet-level ministerial department of Government of Pakistan, responsible for implementing, enforcing, developing, and executing the policy on agriculture, rice, livestock, fishing, and farming. The ministry is governed by the Minister of National Food Security and Research, who must be a member of Parliament of Pakistan. As of 2014 that Minister is Sikandar Bosan[1] Federal Minister and the Parliamentary Secretary For National Food Security & Research is Mr. Rajab Ali Khan Baloch.

The Ministry of National Food Security & Research is mainly responsible for policy formulation, economic coordination and planning in respect of food grain and agriculture. It also includes procurement of food grains, fertilizer, import price stabilization of agriculture produce, international liaison, economic studies for framing agricultural policies.
