Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani, Pakistani lawyer, politician. Recipient Progressive Agriculturist. The  politician has served several times as federal and provincial minister during the tenures of PPP. On 1st Feb 2018 he was found dead along with his wife Bullets were fired on their head and sadly both couldn't resist.


Mr. Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani was an academically qualified person who  achieved the degree in Master of Arts in Political Science and Bachelors of Law from Sindh Muslim Law College and Bachelors of Arts from National College Karachi. He was born in Karampur ( Sindh) on 10th July 1946. They  raised 5 children including Nawab Khatoon Bijarani, Nusrat Bijarani, Shabnam Bijarani, Shabbir Ali Bijarani and Mansoor Ali Bijarani. He  travelled to France for attending a Conference and for attending a Workshop to United States. He was the son of Sardar Noor Mohammad Khan and Begam Nawab Khatoon Bijarani. He started his political career in 1974 when he was elected as Minister Provincial Cabinet, Sindh, till 1977. Than he became the president of Pakistan Peoples party from 1986 - 1988 than he became the senator of Pakistan from 1988 - 1990. In 1990 he was elected as Member of National Assembly till 1993. He was also elected as Chairman Central Selection Board, Pakistan, 1990-1993, Defense Production Board, Pakistan, 1991-1993, Defense Council, Pakistan, 1991-1993. Member Defense Committee Cabinet, Pakistan, 1991-1993. Than he became Kashmir Council, Pakistan in 988, Council Common Interests, Pakistan, 1990-1991, he was also elected as National Economic Council, Pakistan in 1990-1992.  [2] Career Career

He had been the Chairman of Rural Development Council, Thul, Pakistan from 1972 to1974. He was also the Member of Rural Devel Board, Jacobabad, Pakistan from 1972 till1974. than from 1990 - 1993 he was the Delegations leader, Parlimentary official. He was also the Member of Sindh Club Karachi, Boat Club Karachi, Karachi Gymkhana. 


On 11th January 2016 Bijarani resigned  from the provincial cabinet after not being given any ministry since his refusal to accept the portfolio of education ministry when his portfolio was changed from works and services department to education department in July 2015. He also took up the issue with PPP co chairman Asif Ali Zardari in Dubai but failed to get any concrete result and later his charge of education department was given to Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Nisar Ahmed Khuhro. He had sent his resignation to the Sindh chief minister after he was not given charge of any ministry for more than three months. The sources further said that despite of being a senior member of the party and repeatedly elected as MPA and MNA for several times, Bijarani was annoyed with the Sindh government after being ignored. A senior politician of the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani and his wife, Fariha Razaque,(Jung group senior editor) have been found dead at their residence in the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Phase II Karachi on 1st Feb 2018. According to initial reports, the bodies bore bullet wounds. The police have started an investigation into the unfortunate incident. According to the Superintendent of Police (SP) Clifton, someone informed at the police helpline 15 about the incident. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah and other PPP lawmakers and politicians have arrived at Bijarani House in Khayabane Janbaz. Speaker and deputy speaker National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and Murtaza Javed Abbasi have also condoled the assassination of the Sindh minister and his wife. [4] Murder Murder  


The funeral prayers of Sindh Planning and Development Minister Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani, was offered today 2/02/2018 in his ancestral village in Kurrampur, Kashmore. On the other hand, the funeral prayers of Fariha took place in Karachi's Sultan Masjid. Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and other senior leaders of the Pakistan Peoples Party were in attendance. The prayers were led by Maulana Wazir Ali Jatoi at the Grid Station Ground. A public holiday was declared in Jacobabad and Kandkot today in light of the funeral.   [5] Funeral Prayer
