Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry has taken another major step in the Pakistani aviation sector. The association was granted a commercial airline license by the CAA, helping it bring one step closer to launching Air Sial, the newest domestic airline in the country, this airline is offering five star services at an affordable price.

SIALKOT: Air Sial, a new private airline being established under the supervision of Sialkot Chambers of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) will take to skies by the year-end. Fazal Jilani, patron-in-chief of Air Sial and President of SCCI, made the announcement during a meeting at the SCCI Auditorium yesterday. Air Sial management, he said, has formally started the registration of its directors. “We are hopeful that Air Sial will be able to begin its operations by the end of current year after the completion of registration process. The airline’s official logo will be unveiled soon,” he told SAMAA. “We had been deliberating to launch our own airline for a long time as Sialkot’s business community frequently travels abroad and domestically,” he said. “Keeping this in mind, we decided to bring an airline which could provide better travel facilities to exporters as well as other passengers. “Air Sial will offer five star services at an affordable price,” he said. He said that Air Sial management was mulling over a proposal to buy Boeing 727-800 aircraft for its domestic and international flight operations. Jilani hailed the project another landmark achievement of Sialkot’s exporters. KARACHI (Daily Dunya) – A new airline by the name of Air Sial is set to begin its flight operation from the ongoing week. According to details, Air Sial is owned by Sialkot Chamber of Commerce who also formed the first private airport in the city. Air Sial has sent a request to Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) pertaining to issuance of operating license which is likely to be issued in the current week. Mr. Jilani announced that the Security Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has now registered Air Sial Limited as company, which would be running the project of Air Sial. The meeting was told that Sialkot-based exporter Ameen Ehsan has been appointed as the CEO of Air Sial Limited. He said that Air Sial management has doubled the number of its directors from 100 to 200 following the growing demand of the project. He said that 175 directors out of them have been registered by Air Sial management. He termed the big number of directors of the Air Sial as another landmark achievement for the Sialkot exporters, who will complete the mega project after the successful completion of the Sialkot International Airport. He hoped that Sialkot exporters’ Air Sial would be operational at the end of the running year. He said that the official logo of Air Sial would be unveiled soon. The exporters also showed keen interest in the mega project. The meeting was told that several Boeing aircraft-manufacturing companies of Europe have contacted the management of Air Sial for the provision of the air crafts. He revealed that exporters are enriched with spirit of self help for serving the nation in different sectors.

35 expats keen to invest in AirSial

Thirty-five leading overseas Pakistanis have shown keen interest in investing in Air Sial, an airline company launched by Sialkot exporters on self-help basis. Air Sial Executive Board Chairman Fazal Jillani disclosed this while addressing a meeting of directors and investors of Air Sial held at the auditorium of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI). He said that the project has met with great success at its initial stage and it was moving ahead successfully towards its goal of excellence. Jillani told the meeting that 35 leading overseas Pakistanis were keen to invest in this mega project and the management was actively considering their offers of investment.[5] Reports About AirSial
